Industrial Pure Iron Sheet & Coil (DT4/DT4E)
Industrial Pure Iron Sheet & Coil (DT4/DT4E)
High-purity industrial iron in DT4, DT4E and 4N grades, delivering excellent magnetic permeability, low coercivity and superior ductility for electromagnetic components.
Overview
MESCO supplies industrial pure iron in sheet, coil, strip and bar form for electromagnetic and precision component manufacturing. Pure iron offers the highest saturation flux density among soft magnetic materials combined with excellent ductility, making it ideal for relay cores, solenoid parts, magnetic shields and instrument components.
Available in DT4, DT4E and DT4A grades under GB/T 6983, with iron content of 99.5% or higher, our material is supplied annealed and leveled for consistent magnetic and mechanical performance.
What Is Industrial Pure Iron?
Industrial pure iron is low-carbon iron refined to remove most impurities, leaving iron content above 99.5%. Its low carbon and impurity levels give it high magnetic permeability, low coercive force and easy cold working, which is why it is used wherever magnetic circuits must carry flux efficiently and precisely.
Grade Selection
| Grade | Purity | Typical Use |
|---|---|---|
| DT4 | Fe >= 99.5% | Relay parts, general magnetic circuits |
| DT4E | Fe >= 99.5% (low coercivity) | Precision relays, solenoid cores |
| DT4A | Fe >= 99.5% (aged stable) | Stable magnetic components, instruments |
| 4N | Fe >= 99.99% | Research, high-end magnetic applications |
