Alloy steel, nickel alloy and high-temperature alloy pipe, tube, sheet and bar for service conditions that ordinary carbon and stainless grades cannot survive. This group covers the specialist end of the MESCO STEEL range: alloys selected for corrosion resistance in chlorides and acids, for strength retained at high temperature, and for the pressure and temperature combinations found in chemical, petrochemical, power and offshore plant.
What This Group Covers
Alloy steel is a broad family, and the products in this group are grouped by what the alloy has to deliver rather than by base element. The common thread is that the material is chosen because a plain carbon steel would corrode, a stainless steel would pit or crack, or an ordinary grade would soften at the working temperature.
