Porcelain Enamel Steel Sheet

Enameling-grade cold rolled steel with clean surfaces and stable composition, engineered for porcelain enamel coating on cookware, white goods and panels.

Enamel-Ready Surface 0.3 - 3.0 mm Cookware & Appliances Custom Sizes

Overview

MESCO supplies porcelain enamel steel sheet for manufacturers of enamel cookware, oven liners, washing machine drums, water heater tanks, white goods and architectural panels. Enameling steel is a specially controlled low-carbon cold rolled steel with the clean surface and stable composition that porcelain enamel needs to fuse strongly and resist fish-scaling and blistering.

Closely coordinated with our SS+Al+SS cookware disc program, enamel steel helps your enamel-coated products achieve the glossy, durable finish that consumers expect, with consistent quality batch after batch.

What Is Porcelain Enamel Steel?

Porcelain enamel steel is a substrate designed for vitreous enamel coating. The steel is fired with a glass-based frit at high temperature, forming a hard, glossy, chemically resistant surface. To succeed, the steel must have very low carbon content, tight thickness control and a surface free of oil, scale and defects that would cause pinholes or poor adhesion.
