Cold Rolled Steel Sheet & Coil (SPCC/SPCD/SPCE)
Cold Rolled Steel Sheet & Coil (SPCC/SPCD/SPCE)
Cold rolled steel in SPCC, SPCD and SPCE grades from 0.2 to 3.0 mm, with bright or matte surfaces, tight dimensional accuracy and deep-drawing performance for stamping and appliance parts.
Overview
MESCO supplies cold rolled steel sheet and coil for manufacturers of stamped parts, appliance housings, automotive components, furniture and general fabrication. Cold rolling produces steel with excellent surface quality, precise thickness and consistent mechanical properties that hot rolled material cannot match.
Available in SPCC (general), SPCD (drawing) and SPCE (deep drawing) grades, our CR material is supplied bright or matte, oiled or dry, and can be processed with slitting, leveling and cut-to-length before shipment.
What Is Cold Rolled Steel?
Cold rolled steel starts as hot rolled coil, then is pickled and reduced at room temperature on a tandem mill. The cold process improves dimensional accuracy, surface finish and strength, producing a thinner, smoother and more uniform product ideal for visible parts and precision stamping.
Grade Selection
| Grade | Application | Formability |
|---|---|---|
| SPCC / DC01 | General stamping, panels, furniture parts | Standard |
| SPCD / DC03 | Drawing, moderate forming | Good |
| SPCE / DC04-DC06 | Deep drawing, complex parts | Excellent |
Key Features & Benefits
- Precise thickness: tight tolerances support automated stamping and bending lines.
- Clean surface: bright or matte finishes ready for painting, plating or powder coating.
- Deep drawing performance: SPCE grade handles complex shapes without cracking.
- Uniform mechanical properties: consistent hardness across coil and batch.
- Processing ready: slitting, leveling and cutting performed in-house.
- Flexible supply: sheet, coil or slit strip delivered to your production plan.

FAQ
What is the difference between SPCC, SPCD and SPCE?
SPCC is for general stamping, SPCD for drawing applications, and SPCE for deep drawing where complex shapes require excellent formability.
Do you supply cut-to-length sheets?
Yes, we cut coils to exact sheet sizes and can supply blanks for your stamping line.
Which surface finish is best for painting?
Bright or matte finishes are both paintable; matte gives a better key for powder coating.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Sample coils are available for testing. Production orders are quoted by grade, gauge and quantity.
Do you provide material certificates?
Yes, mill certificates accompany every shipment and additional testing can be arranged.
