Overview
MESCO supplies film laminated steel sheet, also known as laminated steel or VCM-type steel, for appliance panels, refrigerator doors, washing machines, elevator interiors, door skins and furniture. A polymer film is thermally bonded to the steel surface, delivering premium decorative effects plus durable protection in a single material.
We laminate Surlyn, PET, PVC, PEN and TPO films onto GI, GL, cold rolled or stainless steel substrates, in gloss, matte, textured and embossed finishes, with custom colors and patterns matched to your design.
What Is Film Laminated Steel?
Film laminated steel combines the strength of a steel substrate with the appearance and protection of a polymer film. During production, the film is heated and pressed onto the steel so it bonds permanently without adhesives or solvents. The result resists scratching, corrosion, fingerprints and UV fading, while remaining formable enough for bending and stamping.
