Aluminized silicon steel sheet is a hot-dip coated flat steel product in which the base steel is continuously immersed in a molten aluminum-silicon alloy bath (containing 8–11% silicon), forming a metallurgically bonded Al-Si coating that provides outstanding oxidation resistance, high-temperature corrosion protection up to 700°C, excellent surface reflectivity, and superior formability compared to standard aluminized steel.
