What Is the Difference Between Seamless and Welded Pipe?
Seamless pipe is formed from a solid billet and has no longitudinal weld, which gives it uniform strength for high-pressure and high-temperature service. Welded pipe is formed from strip and welded longitudinally, offering tighter dimensional control, smoother surfaces and more economical pricing for general duties. Both types are available from stock in standard sizes and on custom order.

Should I choose seamless or welded pipe?
Choose seamless for high pressure, high temperature or critical safety applications. Welded pipe is more economical and dimensionally consistent for general duties.
Which grade works for food contact?
304 and 316L are both food-safe. Use 316L where chloride or aggressive cleaning chemicals are present.
Can you supply cut-to-length pipe?
