What is Sarin coated aluminium and how does it differ from standard coated aluminium?

Sarin film is made from DuPont's Surlyn ionic resin — a high-performance thermoplastic laminate. Compared to standard PE or PET coatings, Sarin film provides superior adhesion, higher gloss, better chemical resistance, and FDA food-contact compliance. It is the preferred choice for applications requiring high formability or hygiene certification.

Is MESCO STEEL's Sarin coated aluminium suitable for food packaging?

Yes. Our Sarin film material complies with FDA 21 CFR 177 and EU Regulation 10/2011 for food contact materials. It can be safely used for food lidding stock, pharmaceutical blister foil and clean-room packaging — full compliance documentation provided upon request.

What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)? Do you offer samples?

Mass production MOQ is 500 kg. Sampling orders from 100–200 kg are welcome, with typical sample lead time of 7–10 business days. We strongly encourage first-time buyers to validate quality via sample before committing to full production quantities.

Can I customise the film colour and thickness?

Absolutely. Film colour can be matched to any Pantone reference (clear, gold, silver or custom). Film weight ranges from 12 μm to 75 μm. Aluminium alloy, temper, width and inner diameter are equally customisable. Submit your specifications and receive a feasibility assessment within 3 business days.

What is the standard lead time and how can I track my order?

Standard production lead time is 15–30 days depending on quantity and specification. Urgent orders can be expedited to 10 days (subject to capacity confirmation). During production we provide photographic and video updates; upon shipment, full tracking details including Bill of Lading number are shared immediately.

What happens if there is a quality issue with my order?

Each batch ships with a complete Certificate of Analysis. Should a quality discrepancy arise, submit photographic evidence and your inspection report within 30 days of receipt. MESCO STEEL will provide a resolution — replacement, supplementary shipment or refund — within 5 business days.

What trade terms and payment methods do you accept?

We support FOB, CIF, CNF and DDP Incoterms. Accepted payment methods include T/T (bank transfer), L/C (Letter of Credit) and Western Union — flexible to suit buyers in any market and procurement structure.
